About Me

Ron Catronio entered the motivational sales training and speaking business in 1986.  Since that time Ron has pursued ways to improve selling and attitudes by charting a never-ending course for self-improvement.


He has been recognized as one of the nation’s premier sales, management and motivational trainers.  Having spent time in various positions of sales and management, Ron brings a very diverse background to his training approach.

Ron is a delightfully entertaining speaker who keeps the attention of his participants from wandering off course.  Ron says that he’s in the “Edutainment and Revenue Generation” business.  By providing information in a light-hearted way, including his own unique brand of humor, Ron is able to make the learning environment fun with a residual positive financial effect.


Since entering the speaking and training business, Ron has published eighteen copyrighted texts for the automobile and general sales industries.  Having first developed the “The Professional Edge” selling method in 1986, Ron continually works at a constant process of improvement for his “text-based”, “live-lecture” materials

Ron says that by his blend of selling, marketing, owner management techniques and the “justificational” sales approach, he makes the selling and buying process an enjoyable experience for all.  Justificational selling is a combination of professional selling and rapport building with a non-confrontational slant. 


Although Ron says it is impossible to eliminate all the pressure in any sales process, he does say that it can be relaxed so there is minimum anxiety on the part of the purchasing consumer coupled with increased customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Ron is a speaker at many local and national events.  He personally conducts classes all over North America.  He has trained over 30,000 Salespeople and over 3000 Sales Managers. Ron appeared regularly on A.S.T.N., the “Automotive Satellite Television Network”.  He firmly believes that nothing takes the place of a knowledgeable, enthusiastic individual.  The Professional Edge is recognized as one of the most well documented sales and management training programs ever produced.  The Professional Edge materials are in a constant state of renewal.  After Ron’s live lecture and interactive training his students are left with a complete road map to on-going success.
